From May 4 to14, a delegation of Shanghai Fengxian District Government, led by Mr. Gu Yi, deputy head of Fengxian, made a 10-day investigation tour from Myanmar to Vietnam, and to Mumbai & Delhi. The tour was to support the the Belt and Road Initiative of China, to promote the business interaction between Shanghai Fengxian District and Southeast Asian countries, and strengthen the economic exchanges between Southeast Asian branches of enterprises headquartered in Fengxian District.

The delegation visited enterprises such as Baosteel India, COSCO Shipping, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Country Garden in India. On May 13, accompanied by Mr. Huang Haixiao, Chairman of Hi-Road Food, and Mr. Han Jun, general manager of Shineroad Foods (India) Private Limited (a subsidiary of Hi-Road), the delegation visited Shineroad Foods (India) Private Limited’s Delhi plant, and celebrated the launch of a new baking laboratory.

They exchanged views on industry development and talent cultivation in the baking market of India.
